Independence Day Road Walk – Fakai Corps Members

A group of corps members in Fakai Local Government Area of Kebbi State had matched to the streets on the 1st of October in celebrating the 59th Independence Day of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.The chuffed corps members kicked off the Independence Day road walk at the corps members’ central lodge with drums and cardboards with inscriptions such as ‘God bless Nigeria’, ‘Happy Independence Day’, ‘Nigeria @ 59’, etc.The 2018 Batch ‘C’ Stream I corps members whose Passing out Parade had been fixed for the 3rd of October used this medium to express their heartfelt joy by dancing and gyrating around the town in celebrating not only the Independence Day but also their Passing out Parade.The road walk which started at the corps members’ central lodge ended at the Palace of the District Head, Mahuta.The Nigeria Police Force, Fakai Local Government Area, also gave their support for the Independence Day road walk by beefing up security for the corps members.The people of Fakai Local Government Area, precisely Mahuta, also took out to the streets in celebrating the 59th Independence Day with the corps members at the Local Government Area.The corps members expressed how happy they were to see Nigeria, their fatherland, celebrate her 59th Anniversary with best regards.
